■イギリスに2年滞在した経験から、イギリスの観光ガイドをイギリス文化に焦点を当てて作成したのが、このサイトです。

ロンドン留学中にある会社で仕事を手伝っていた事があります。そのころ知り合ったイギリス人の何人かが日本で仕事をしています。 彼らと話していると、日本で生活をしていて、日本語を勉強したいけど、仕事が忙しくてなかなか手が回らないと言います。

そこで、ささやかではありますが、彼らに日本語と日本のカルチャーについて、’Japanese Tips’と題し、メールを送るようになりました。そのうちに、新たに知り合った人たちからバックナンバーを見せてくれないかという反響をいただくようになりました。

ウェブサイトならば、いつでもどこからでも見ることができますので、掲載いたしております。

それに際し、これまでメールマガジンにて友達に送ってきた、イギリスについてのメールも蓄積されてきたので、いくつか抜粋して’What’s up in the UK?’と題しコンテンツとして載せることといたしました。

イギリスの写真なども、載せてございます。紅茶でも飲みながら、イギリスに触れるひとときをお過ごしください。

When I was drinking a pint with some of my friends at an English pub, a guy next to me told me that ‘Japanese Tips’ which I had sent some of my friends about Japanese culture by email was useful so that he wanted to read all of them.

It is possible that some of you who are now studying Japanese and its culture. This web site, especially ‘Japanese Tips’, is for such people who have full of curiosity about Japan.

I came up with an idea that developing a web site should be good so that you can read them anytime and anywhere. I have constantly sent emails to my friends who are not Japanese but are interested in Japan.

At the same time, I have sent emails to my Japanese friends about London where I live now. Therefore the contents on the web site are ‘Japanese Tips’ which is for you guys and ‘What’s up in the UK?’ which is for my Japanese friends, written in Japanese.

Before I send ‘Japanese Tips’, I almost always show my manuscripts to native English speakers in order to correct grammatical mistakes. I owe ‘Japanese Tips’ to some of you. Thanks !!
